The Queyrans family has owned Château de la Bouyère for more than a century. The vineyard is located at the top of Donzac, 45 km to the south of Bordeaux. Grape production, winemaking and aging all take place on the family estate. Vines have an average age of 30 years.
Château de la Bouyère has an intense ruby color, enhanced by a beautiful shine. The nose is powerful, with complex aromas combining ripe black fruits and roasted scents. The mouth is fleshy with a dense and tannic flavor, which hints of red fruits and spices supporting this balance through the finish.

Château de la Bouyère 2014
All the elements are present in this young wine. It has plenty of red fruit, touches of plum and spice. The tannins are firm while leaving plenty of room for the fruit. A wine that will be comfortably drinkable from 2018.

Chateau de Reignac 2003
“Reignac is the poster child for a modern-styled, “better than its pedigree” Bordeaux Supérieur. The wine’s high quality is a testament to the exceptional commitment demonstrated by proprietor Yves Vatelot. This large (125 acres) hillside vineyard, planted in gravelly/clay soils, is composed of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. Yields are often lower than many classified growths’.
