In 2003, the Johnson and Braunel families moved to Walla Walla and became the 52nd winery to "hang the shingle" and call Walla Walla Valley home.  Today, the family is producing some spectacular wines from its 4,000 case operation.  They have become vineyard focused and farm nearly 100 acres of vineyard in Walla Walla.  In addition, they have begun a unique barrel project with the use of extra-tight-grained Wisconsin Oak harvested from lands they grew up around!

Dusted Valley YV Old Vine Chardonnay 2009
This wine is made from the oldest Wente clone Chard vines in Washington State! The vines were planted way back in 1971 and celebrated their 38th birthday last harvest. The wine is aged sur-lee for 5 months and only spontaneous partial M-L is achieved. The result = Rich, Clean, Crisp, Unadulterated fruit and balance.
