Tasty and lively in the mouth, this blend of Chardonnay and Argentina's calling card, Torrontes, boasts flavors of key lime pie, aromas of lemon blossoms and a persistent, bright finish; such a delicious white wine. Bodegas Bórbore, the traditional winery of San Juan, has launched its new line of varietal wines called Martín Fierro in honor of the greatest exponent of the Argentinian gaucho-style literature.
The wines, as its model, are simple and captivating at the same time, aiming to symbolize the true Argentinian spirit. They are wines with good density and tannins granted by oak, without disregarding the fruity aromas and flavors typical of each variety.Bórbore Winery was founded in 1936, on the side of Pie de Palo Mountains, to the East of the capital city of San Juan. The winery's vineyards are located in several districts of San Juan province, each of them with diverse soil characteristics.
A wide variety of high quality grapes is cultivated and selected according to the quality of each terroir.Great temperature differences between day and night along with abundant sunlight and a careful control of irrigation allow the winery to obtain wines with a great concentration of fruit flavors and aromas, an excellent acidity in white grapes and a good formation of tannins in red varieties.
